titleOfInvention Double-layer hydroxide materials with a large aspect ratio and methods for preparing it
abstract The present invention relates to oriented embodiments of adamantane sandwiched between layered double-hydroxide particles and methods for producing double-layered hydroxide particles. The method involves adding a first product and a second product to an aqueous solution to form a primary mixture, in which the first product is aluminum hydroxide Al(OH) 3 or aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and the second product is hydroxide M(OH) 2 or Molybdenum oxide (Mo), where M is a metal in the oxidation state +2, and the initial mixture contains aluminum (Al M/) from 1 to 5. The method also includes adding an amount of adamantane to the initial mixture To form a reaction mixture containing an aluminum (Al)/adamantane molecular ratio of 0.5 to 2, where the adamantane intercalated between layered double-hydroxide particles has an aspect ratio greater than 100.
