titleOfInvention How to make a 3D platform out of leaves
abstract The present invention relates to a method for making a three-dimensional platform of leaves for three-dimensional cell cultures comprising washing a quantity of Ficus religiosa leaves, then treating the washed temple figs with a solution of sodium hydroxide to obtain alkaline fig leaves. The alkaline-treated temple fig leaves are washed, then the outer tissue is removed from the alkaline-treated temple fig leaves to obtain the temples fig leaf structures. The temples fig leaf constructs were dried and then alternately immersed in, distilled water, phosphate buffer saline, and Dulbecco Modified Eagle's (DMEM) purified medium to form 3D platforms for 3D cell cultures. Each 3D platform can be used to grow 3D cell cultures, such as human mesenchymal stem cell cultures. Figure 1.
