abstract |
An object of the invention is a method for producing a low-viscosity polymer dispersion based on a water-soluble polymer by polymerizing at least one water-soluble monomer and at least one hydrophobic monomer in the presence of at least one polymer dispersant and subsequently treating the resulting polymer dispersion, wherein the resulting aqueous dispersion is processed by removing water, followed by mixing the resulting concentrated dispersion with an aqueous dispersion of at least one polymer dispersant. |
