Crystals of the growth hormone involving histidine or its derivatives, method of their preparing and the stabilized pharmaceutical preparation containing the growth hormone and histidine, and a method of its preparing |
abstract |
A pharmaceutical preparation containing growth hormone and histidine or a histidine derivative as an additive or buffering agent exhibits a very high resistance to deamidation, oxidation and cleavage of peptide bonds. The stability of the product makes it possible to store and transport it in a lyophilized state or in the form of a dissolved or newly dissolved preparation at ambient temperature. Crystallization of growth hormone in the presence of histidine or its derivative leads to an increase in the yield of crystals having a higher purity than in known methods. |
