abstract | The invention relates to veterinary medicine, in particular to immunological drugs, and more particularly to colostrum-based drugs and methods for treating gastrointestinal diseases of young farm animals using immune preparations based on cow colostrum serum. The technical result is to increase the effectiveness of the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases of young farm animals by creating a tool to normalize the immune system and increase the safety of newborn calves by expanding the temporal possibilities of using the drug, as well as simplifying the treatment method. The technical result is achieved by the fact that the immune preparation additionally contains formaldehyde and physiological saline, and as a product from colostrum - its dry whey in the following ratio of components, wt.%: Dry serum of colostrum of cows 6 - 7, formaldehyde 0.08 - 0.12 , saline - the rest. In a method of treating gastrointestinal diseases of young farm animals, a composition containing the above components is used as a medicine, which is administered intramuscularly at a dose of 2.5 to 3.5 ml per head 1 to 2 times a day until recovery. |
