abstract Solutions of carboplatin and other malonato-platinum (II) antitumor agents are prepared which contain stabilizing amounts of I, I-cyclobutanedicarboxylic acid or its salt at pH 4-8. These stabilizers inhibit unacceptable discoloration and precipitation. These solutions can also be stabilized by flushing the carrier with air or oxygen and, optionally, by filling the void with air or oxygen.
