titleOfInvention Method of spectroelectrochemical analysis of compounds irreversibly adsorbing on metals
abstract A method is proposed for the analysis of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins, dibenzofurans, biphenyls and other toxic compounds, combining "giant" Raman spectroscopy with concentration of the analyte in an adsorbed state directly on a liquid metal electrode when its surface is reduced without adsorbate desorption. The SERS activity of the surface with the adsorbate is increased by transferring the scattering electrode to a solid state and the electrodeposition of the SSC active metal on it.
