titleOfInvention | Method for hypothermia of pancreas |
abstract | The alleged invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, and is intended for the treatment of acute pancreatitis. In contrast to the generally accepted suboperative methods of local hypothermia of the pancreas, chloroethyl is used to cool the tissue of this organ by intermittent irrigation of the front and side surfaces of the gland for 10 to 12 minutes, with 20 to 30 ml of the substance being used. With free evaporation of chloroethyl, the surface of the organ is covered with a layer of ice crystals. As a result, the surface of the organ is cooled to a temperature of 0 - 4C, which is accompanied by both inhibition and destruction of the exocrine apparatus while maintaining the function of the islet tissue of this organ. The method allows to achieve a positive treatment result in acute pancreatic necrosis. |
