titleOfInvention Method to determine passability of natural co-entrances of paranasal sinuses
abstract The invention relates to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology and can be used to diagnose diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses / acute onset /. The aim of the method is to reduce the morbidity at the preparatory stage of the study, eliminating the need for repeated exposure of the subject and increasing the representativeness of the study. This goal is achieved by the fact that in the method for determining patency of the anastomoses of the paranasal sinuses, according to which the presence of pathological contents in the SNP is monitored, the SNP is released from the pathological content if it is present, a contrast medium is introduced into the nasal cavity, creating a rarefaction in the SNP, and monitoring is carried out the presence of contrast medium by repeated introscopy. The presence of pathological contents in the SNP is controlled by echolocation of the SNP, physiological saline is used as a contrast medium, the viscosity of which is less than the viscosity of an aqueous solution of a radiopaque substance, and the presence of a contrast medium is monitored by repeated echolocation.
