titleOfInvention Method for extraction of arabinogalactane
abstract The invention relates to medicine and relates to a method for the isolation of arabinogalactan from larch wood. The aim of the invention is to simplify the method of isolation of arabinogalactan while maintaining a high degree of purity. This is achieved by sawdust of larch wood being extracted at ordinary temperature with water (at a raw material-extractant ratio of 1: 5-1: 7) for 1.5 hours, the filtered aqueous extract is evaporated to 1/2 of the original volume, cooled and with constant stirring poured into a 1.5-fold volume of acetone with the addition of 0.2-0.3% sodium chloride (from the aqueous extract). The supernatant is decanted from the easily precipitated arabinogalactan, the arabinogalactan precipitate is washed with acetone and dried. This method allows to simplify the preparation of high purity arabinogalactan from larch wood by eliminating from the process the stage of oxidation of phenolic impurities and heating during precipitation. The positive effect of the proposal is also to reduce the time of the method from 30 hours according to the prototype to 5.25 hours according to the claimed method while maintaining the quality indicators of arabinogalactan.
