titleOfInvention pH probe
abstract The invention relates to medical equipment and can be used to determine acidity in the upper gastrointestinal tract of a person. The pH probe contains antimony ring measuring electrodes 1, hermetically connected with polymer glue to segments of the polymer sealed tube 2 by means of thin-walled metal sleeves 3, a metal tip 4 mounted on the working end of the polymer tube, a silver chloride comparison electrode 5, and conductors 6 connecting the electrodes to connector 7 , in places of tight junctions of each antimony electrode 1 with a polymer tube 2, annular convex protrusions 8 are made of a moisture-resistant electrical insulating polymer. The use of the invention improves the accuracy of measuring acidity on the surface of the mucous membrane in the acid-forming zone of the stomach.
