| abstract | On the proposed utility model "Device for the prevention of edema of the lower extremities with extrafocal osteosynthesis of the lower leg." The proposed utility model relates to medical equipment, namely to medical devices used in traumatology. Its purpose is to increase the efficiency, reduce the time and cost of treating patients with leg fractures in the Ilizarov apparatus. The goal is realized using the proposed device, consisting of parts of a standard set of Ilizarov apparatus and 1-2 strips of hemostatic tow. The advantage of the proposed utility model is the possibility of activating the muscular-venous pump of the lower leg, prevention of equinus foot contracture, circulatory disorders and osteoporosis of the damaged lower limb. The design feature of the device is that it is installed on the front surface of the lower paraarticular ring of the Ilizarov apparatus, and a loop formed of a rubber strip (s) is pulled over the sole of the forefoot. |
