titleOfInvention | DEVICE FOR ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICINES |
abstract | 1. A device for introducing drugs into the body cavity, containing a reservoir for medicinal fluid with a flexible tube for dispensing the latter, characterized in that it further comprises a handle plate for holding the device in the body cavity, connected through at least one flexible tube made of semi-permeable fiber membranes that ensure the diffusion of drug fluid with a molecular weight of 15,000 or lower only from the lumen of the fiber to the outside. 2. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that the number of flexible tubes is determined by the formula n = K <Mv> t <D> <195> S <Mv> o <D> <Mv> r <D> / h, where n is the number flexible tubes required to deliver the drug at therapeutic concentrations; K <Mv> t <D> is the amount of drug per unit of surface to be treated at the desired therapeutic concentration; S <Mv> o <D> <Mv> r <D> is the surface area to be treated; h is the depth of the lesion, and the total cross-sectional area of the flexible tubes should not exceed the base area of the medicinal fluid container. 3. The device according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the semipermeable fiber membranes are made of polyaromatic phenylone polymer. |
