abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a new method for the preparation of 3-alkyl(phenyl)-2,5-bis(2-methoxyethyl)-1H-pyrroles. A new method for the preparation of 3-alkyl(phenyl)-2,5-bis(2-methoxyethyl)-1H-pyrroles, which are of interest as initial synthons for the creation of biologically active compounds for medical and agricultural purposes, has been developed, which consists in the interaction of terminal acetylenes with 2 -fold excess of 3-methoxypropionitrile, 2.5-fold excess of ethylaluminum dichloride (EtAlCl2) in the presence of magnesium and Cp 2 TiCl 2 catalyst at 60°C in an argon atmosphere and atmospheric pressure for 8-12 h. Yield of 2,5-bis(2-methoxyethyl )-3-alkyl(phenyl)-1H-pyrroles (1) is 50-72%. n EFFECT: creation of a new method for the preparation of 3-alkyl(phenyl)-2,5-bis(2-methoxyethyl)-1H-pyrroles. n 1 cl, 1 ex, 1 tbl
