titleOfInvention Method for step-by-step modeling of nonalcoholic fatty pancreatic disease in rats
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to experimental gastroenterology, and can be used to study the mechanisms of formation, progression and therapy of pancreatic diseases of non-infectious genesis. The method for step-by-step modeling of non-alcoholic fatty pancreatic disease (NAFPD) in rats includes feeding pathogenic feed to experimental animals. At the same time, 4.25 g of melted beef fat and 0.43 g of powdered cholesterol per 100 g of body weight are injected daily with animal feed for 24 weeks. After 4 weeks from the start of feeding, a histological examination is performed and, if fat infiltration of pancreatic cells is detected, the formation of a model of NAFPD in the steatosis stage is judged. After 12 weeks from the start of feeding, when fatty tissue degeneration and cell necrosis with inflammatory infiltration are detected on histological sections, the formation of a model of NAFPD at the stage of pancreatic steatosis is judged. After 24 weeks from the start of feeding, when areas of cell necrosis with replacement of parenchyma with connective tissue structures are detected on histological sections, the formation of a model of pancreatic NAFPD in the stage of pancreatic steatosis with pancreatic fibrosis is judged. n EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a new experimental model of non-alcoholic fatty pancreatic disease that most accurately reflects the structural and functional reorganization of the organ, accompanied by hyperglycemia, hyperfermentemia, dyslipidemia. n 1 cl, 4 dwg, 3 tbl, 3 ex
