abstract | FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a group of inventions: polymer compositions based on polyphenylene sulphide and glass fibre, intended for use as structural polymer materials, and a method of producing said polyphenylene sulphide polymer compositions. In these compositions, the finishing agent used is an organic compound - 1,3-diaminobenzenein a volatile organic solvent acetone. Sizing agent amount to glass fibre corresponds to 1–4 wt.%. Amount of finished glass fibre in the composite material is 20 wt.%. This method involves finishing glass fibre by applying a finishing material from a solution, followed by drying. Finishing material is applied from solutions with weight fraction of 0.32-1.25% in organic volatile solvent and stepwise temperature rise is carried out with simultaneous distillation of the solvent according to the mode: 24°C for 30 min; 35°C for 20 min; 45°C for 20 min; 55°C for 30 min; 70°C for 20 min.EFFECT: improved physical and mechanical properties of the created composite materials due to the introduction of an organic finishing agent - 1,3-diaminobenzene, which increases wettability of the filler and increases boundary interactions between the filler and the polyphenylene sulphide matrix.2 cl, 1 tbl, 7 ex |
