titleOfInvention Method for treatment of episodes of apnea and/or hypopnea and system for detecting such episodes
abstract FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to a method for combating apnea and/or hypopnea attacks, a method for determining such attacks and a system for predicting attacks. At the same time, an attack of apnea and/or hypopnea is predicted by means of a pressure sensor and a respiratory thermal sensor. The pressure sensor measures the amplitude of a respiratory signal in the nasal cavity. The prediction of an attack is carried out by means of sensors that count respiratory signals, with the preservation of previously recorded values of respiratory signals on a storage device, as well as by comparing current values with a dynamic threshold value based on previously recorded values. An attack of apnea and/or hypopnea is determined, if a reduction rate is below the dynamic threshold level. An electrical signal is generated in the event of a decrease in values below the threshold level by means of an electric drive with electrodes connected to the chin nerve and/or muscle for stimulation. The electrical signal has a bipolar waveform with positive and negative cycles and has a frequency from 5 to 100 Hz. One of cycles has a maximum value that exceeds a maximum value of the other cycle by 40%.EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the fight against apnea and/or hypopnea attacks is achieved due to higher accuracy and reliability in detecting attacks in a safer, more effective and reliable way.21 cl, 5 dwg, 1 tbl
