abstract FIELD: building.SUBSTANCE: method for treating the surface of newly-laid concrete includes applying a sealing composition, covering the composition with a polyethylene film. "Universal glue "Bustilat-M" is used as a sealing composition, constituting an aqueous 37.4 wt.% solution containing grade 75/400 technical sodium carbomethyl cellulose, synthetic latex SKS-65 GP, finely granulated chalk, table salt "Extra", or a solution thereof diluted with water to a content of dry matter of less than 37.4 up to and including 24.7 wt.%. Said sealing composition is mixed, then two layers of the composition are applied with a brush: one layer of the polymer composition is applied with a brush to the surface of the film, and a second layer of the polymer composition is applied with a brush to the entire surface of concrete of the repaired section with an area of no more than 5 m2, pressing the edge of the film tightly. After reaching the critical age of 1 to 14 days whereat the destructive effect of moisture loss and deformation moisture does not affect the physico-mechanical properties of the concrete, the film is removed.EFFECT: improvement in the setting quality of the coating, uniform characteristics over the entire area of the repaired or restored section of the concrete structure, ensured tight sealing of the surface of the laid concrete or solution, absence of ventilation on the given coating area, ensured strength achieved by the mixture within the design time.1 cl, 8 dwg, 12 tbl, 4 ex
