abstract | FIELD: separation; mixing.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reactors, systems and processes for fermentation with gas supply, suitable for fermentation, in which gas/liquid separation vessels are used, in particular, to fermentation systems using a gaseous substrate. System comprises a loop reactor. Loop reactor comprises a fluid transfer device, a loop section, a substantially vertical upflow zone, a gas/liquid separation vessel, non-increasing diameter fluid pipeline extending between the outlet of the gas/liquid separation vessel and the inlet of the fluid transfer device. Inlet of the fluid transfer device is in fluid communication with the outlet of the substantially vertical downflow zone. Inlet of the loop section is in fluid communication with the outlet of the fluid transfer device. Inlet of the vertical zone of the upward flow is in fluid communication with the outlet of the loop section. Separation vessel has an outlet side section, an intermediate section, an inlet side section in the form of an inclined cone and has an increasing diameter in the direction of fluid flow through the inlet side section. Lowermost edge of the inlet, outlet, intermediate section, outlet side section and inlet side section of the gas/liquid separation tank is in contact with a common plane.EFFECT: creation of scalable design of fermenters, which, in addition to efficient separation of gas/liquid and removal of gases, provide intensive flow with mass exchange of gas phase into liquid phase.51 cl, 11 dwg |
