titleOfInvention | Scaffold for bone defect replacement |
abstract | FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, traumatology, implantology and orthopaedics, and discloses a scaffold for bone defect replacement, made of a biocompatible composite polymer material coated with a hydroxyapatite layer, wherein the material contains a carbon matrix of a highly porous open-cell carbon material saturated with pyrocarbon, with a porosity of not less than 90 % with a bioactive osteoconductive coating based on calcium phosphates with a thickness of not more than 1 mcm. Increased efficiency of using the scaffold for bone defect replacement is provided due to the presence of a structure close to the structure of human trabecular bone, high porosity (90 %), sufficient strength (not less than 4 MPa) and the presence of a bioactive osteoconductive coating based on calcium phosphates.EFFECT: scaffold for bone defect replacement can be used in surgical treatment of inflammatory and degenerative-dystrophic diseases of bone, as well as bone injuries.1 cl, 2 dwg |
