titleOfInvention Bed bug trap
abstract FIELD: pest control.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to trap (10) for bed bugs (2) containing inner element (20) that has outer surface (24) limited with first base (22) and first vertex (26), and hollow outer element (80) with second base (86) and second vertex (88) that limit inner surface (84). The outer element is placed around the inner element, while the second vertex is located adjacent to the first vertex, and the second base is located adjacent to the first base, while between the outer surface of the inner element and the inner surface of the outer element, there is tapering space (12), which is tapered in the direction to the first vertex. Bed bugs crawling along the outer surface of the inner element through a hole in the base formed between the outer surface of the inner element and the second base can get into the tapering space. Adhesive substance (6) is applied to at least part of the inner surface of the outer element to glue backside (4) of the bed bug crawling along the outer surface of the inner element. The invention also relates to a method for detecting and/or catching of bed bugs.EFFECT: invention provides a trap that allows for easy detection of caught bugs.15 cl, 17 dwg
