abstract | FIELD: packaging.SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to water-soluble films, corresponding water-soluble packages and container systems. A container system for the delivery of standardized doses of compositions for household use is described, containing: a closed container having walls that define the internal space; at least one package in the internal space, wherein the package contains water-soluble film and a composition for household use, at least partially enclosed in a compartment with water-soluble film, while the composition for household use contains from 0.1% to about 10% of fragrance by weight of the composition for household use containing components of fragrance Quadrant I, components of fragrance Quadrant II, components of fragrance Quadrant III, components of fragrance Quadrant IV or a combination thereof, and from 1% to 50% of an organic solvent by weight of the composition for household use, the specified organic solvent is a mixture of one or more solvents selected from a group consisting of glycerin, 1,2-propanediol, 1,3-propanediol, dipropylene glycol, diethylene glycol, polyalkylene glycol, sorbitol and mixtures thereof; film containing at least from 50% by wt. to 99% by wt. of a mixture of polyvinyl alcohol (hereinafter – PVOH) polymers, the specified mixture of PVOH polymers contains the first PVOH polymer present in the amount from 65% by wt. to 90% by wt. of the total number of PVOH polymers in film, while the first PVOH polymer contains the first anionic monomer link obtained from a carboxylated anionic monomer link selected from maleic acid, monoalkylmaleate, dialkylmaleate, maleic anhydride and combinations thereof, a vinyl alcohol monomer link and optionally a vinyl acetate link, where the anionic monomer link is present in the first PVOH polymer in the amount from 1 to 5% mol. of the amount of the first PVOH polymer, while the mixture of PVOH polymers additionally contains the second PVOH polymer present in the amount from 10% by wt. to 35% by wt., wherein the second PVOH contains PVOH homopolymer consisting essentially of a vinyl alcohol monomeric link and optionally a vinyl acetate link; and the composition for household use does not contain (i), (ii), (iii) or (iv): (i) from 15% to 60% by weight of fragrance of components of fragrance Quadrant I, Quadrant II and Quadrant III; (ii) from 2% to 15% by weight of fragrance of components of fragrance Quadrant I; (iii) from 2% to about 15% by weight of fragrance of components of fragrance Quadrant I, from 2.5% to 25% by weight of fragrance of components of fragrance Quadrant II, from 10% to 50% by weight of fragrance of components of fragrance Quadrant III, and from 40% to 85% by weight of fragrance of components of fragrance Quadrant IV, (iv) fragrance encapsulated in an encapsulate core shell.EFFECT: provision of improved films and related container systems that include at least one package, where a pleasant fragrance smell appears, when the container is opened, without additional production stages, chemistry or the cost of the composition.33 cl, 9 dwg, 5 tbl, 2 ex |
