abstract FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmic surgery. Anterior capsulorrhexis is performed, iris-capsular retractors (ICR) are installed, the nucleus of the lens is divided by the phaco chop method, the fragments are emulsified, and an intraocular lens (IOL) is installed. After performing anterior capsulorrhexis and installing the ICR, the nucleus is removed into the anterior chamber, lowered into the iridian plane. After that, the IOL is implanted into the capsular bag through the main incision and the upper part of the pupil, and the nucleus is divided into two halves. Half of the nucleus is then divided into two more fragments, consecutively emulsified. The next half of the nucleus is then divided into two fragments, consecutively emulsified, the viscoelastic is washed from the anterior chamber, and the corneal incisions are hydrated.EFFECT: method allows for a reduction in the load on the weak ligamentous apparatus and minimisation of the risks of rupture of the Zinn's zonule and the posterior capsule.1 cl, 1 ex
