titleOfInvention | Method for the surgical treatment of large and recurrent macular ruptures |
abstract | FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to ophthalmology. A 3-port vitrectomy 25-27G is performed with isolation and removal of the posterior hyaloid membrane, staining and removal of the internal boundary membrane (IPM). In the vitreous cavity, balanced salt solution (BSS) is replaced with air. Then a drop of blood plasma is applied to the area of the rupture, and after the formation of a fibrin film on it, a drop of PFOS is placed on it, and kept in time. Then, by passive aspiration, PFOS is removed, and finally, the air is replaced with saline, while 1/2-3/4 of the air volume is left in the vitreous cavity. In this case, a drop of PFOS is tamped on a drop of blood plasma for 8 minutes. After completing the operation, the patient is placed face down for 12 hours.EFFECT: method allows performing atraumatic surgical treatment of large sizes (more than 500 microns) and recurrent macular ruptures.1 cl, 2 ex |
