titleOfInvention Method for treating chronic tonsillitis using ultrasonic cavitation
abstract FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology and immunology. Patients with chronic tonsillitis are abluted with an ultrasonic 0.01% Miramistin solution using the "Cavitar" apparatus for 10 days. In this case, ablution of the tonsil is carried out by directing the ultrasonic solution of the nozzle to the mucous membranes of the tonsil. The total exposure time is 30 seconds, 10 seconds each with a break of 3 seconds. Ablution is carried out daily, once a day with the amplitude of acoustic vibrations of low-frequency ultrasound - 25.0 microns, the frequency of acoustic vibrations - 29.0 kHz.EFFECT: method increases efficiency of treatment of chronic tonsillitis, allows normalizing indices of neutrophilic granulocytes and processes of free-radical oxidation of lipids on the surface of the mucous membrane of the palatine tonsil due to the combined action of ultrasonic cavitation and Miramistin solution.2 cl, 5 dwg
