titleOfInvention Method for anterior layered keratoplasty
abstract FIELD: ophthalmology.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology, namely ophthalmic surgery. The corneal donor graft and the recipient’s bed are formed using a femtosecond laser, and the graft is fixed. The corneal bed is formed with a diameter of 9.0 mm at a depth of 300 mcm, a disk with a diameter of 6 mm and a thickness of 300 mcm is carved in the center of the cornea so that turbid foci in the stroma are removed and a 360-degree peripheral pocket is formed. The graft is formed with a thickness of 500-600 mcm, a diameter of 8.5 mm, with a cut angle of 140 degrees, which is placed in the formed bed of the recipient. It is fixed to the edge of the bed with four nodular sutures to the cornea of the recipient with an offset from the edge of the graft by 2 mm, so that a picture of a “rhombus” appears. Then four more nodal sutures are applied, and after fixation, the graft is tucked into the peripheral pocket.EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain a stable optical result by reducing the thickness of the cornea, reducing intra- and postoperative complications in the form of perforation, inducing astigmatism, infection attachment, mismatch of the graft with the recipient’s corneal bed.1 cl, 2 ex
