titleOfInvention | Method for histological staining of intramural veins of hollow organs of human abdominal cavity |
abstract | FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to anatomy, histology, topographic anatomy, pathological anatomy, and gastroenterology. For histological staining of the intramural veins of the hollow organs of the human abdominal cavity, the venous vessels are filled with a filling mass. Dissection of tissue samples, histological treatment and staining are performed. Prior to histological treatment, the veins are washed with a solution of 10% ammonia and distilled water. The venous vessels are filled using the "HistoSafe Histological Ink" paint. Gauze pads are then inserted into the lumen of the organs, fixed in a 10% solution of buffered formalin. Upon fixing, they are washed with running water, samples are dissected. Histological treatment of the samples is performed, including filling in paraffin and staining the sections with Mayer hematoxylin.EFFECT: method optimises production of stained histological preparations of the hollow organs of the human abdominal cavity with contrasting of the intramural veins, provides a possibility to determine the location of the veins relative to the membranes of the wall of the hollow organ of the abdominal cavity, belonging thereof to the caval or portal venous systems, provides determination of the location and structure of various parts of the veins and, as a result, a possibility of comprehensive selection of the appropriate treatment in a pathology.1 cl, 3 dwg, 3 ex |
