titleOfInvention METHOD FOR DETECTING METHICILLIN RESISTANCE GENES mecA AND mecC IN STAPHYLOCOCCI
abstract FIELD: biotechnology; medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, medicine, in particular to clinical laboratory diagnostics, clinical microbiology, and can be used for the diagnosis of nosocomial infections caused by microorganisms of the genus Staphylococcus having methicillin resistance genes mecA and mecC. A method for detecting methicillin resistance genes mecA and mecC in staphylococci includes the following stages: a. isolation of DNA of microorganisms from a pure culture of staphylococcus, grown on a solid nutrient medium, b. amplification of two fragments of the genome of methicillin-resistant staphylococci mecA and mecC using polymerase chain reaction (PCR), formation of control tests simultaneously with amplification; d. detection of amplification products by agarose gel electrophoresis, e. analysis of the amplified PCR product. The claimed method uses the AmpliTaq Gold PCR Master Mix kit (Applied Biosy stems) and two pairs of primers.EFFECT: the method allows increasing the speed and information content of express diagnostics of methicillin resistance of staphylococci with the determination of two genes mecA and mecC, encoding changes in the target of beta-lactams - penicillin-binding proteins.4 cl, 1 tbl, 3 ex
