titleOfInvention | Method for producing hydrogen |
abstract | FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing hydrogen. A method for producing hydrogen in which electromagnetic radiation is applied to a liquid composition containing a hydrocarbon in the presence of a solid catalyst, while the catalyst contains particles of at least one metal containing one or more elements selected from Fe, Ni and Co, and oxygen-free ceramics, the electromagnetic radiation being microwave radiation. The invention also relates to a fuel cell module providing the production of hydrogen, which contains (i) a fuel cell and (ii) a heterogeneous mixture containing a solid catalyst in a homogeneous mixture with a liquid composition containing a hydrocarbon, and (iii) a source of electromagnetic radiation. The method can be used not only on vehicles for in situ production of hydrogen, but also to use liquid compositions containing hydrocarbons as materials for storing hydrogen.EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain hydrogen with minimal formation of carbon dioxide, as well as to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases from vehicles.28 cl, 20 dwg, 3 tbl |
