abstract FIELD: confectionery.SUBSTANCE: variants of a chewing gum composition are proposed. In the first variant, the chewing gum composition is comprised of a chewing gum base and multiple encapsulate composition elements mixed with the chewing gum base. Each of the multiple encapsulate composition elements comprises a component shell and multiple component shell areas comprising no less than one active ingredient encapsulated in an encapsulating material. Less than 15% of the average concentration of the active ingredient among said multiple encapsulate composition elements therein are in contact with the outer surface of said multiple elements. In the second variant, said multiple encapsulate composition elements have a dimensional distribution with a standard deviation of less than 50% of the average largest size of each of said multiple elements. In the third variant, the release profile of said at least one active ingredient is less than 10% per minute within one minute after exposure of said multiple encapsulate composition elements to a dissolving liquid, wherein the release profile may vary as a response to one or more from the extruder head outlet size, extrusion speed and rotational speed of the cutting disk. In the fourth variant, the amount of said no less than one active ingredient of said multiple encapsulate composition elements capable of dissolving within 3 minutes of exposure to water is less than 10%, and said amount is determined by placing said multiple encapsulate composition elements in a container with water at a temperature of 21 to 23°C wherein the container has a rotating element configured to rotate at a frequency of 350 rpm, wherein the dissolution speed may vary as a response to one or more from the extruder head outlet size, extrusion speed and rotational speed of the cutting disk.EFFECT: invention is intended to uniformly release the active ingredient.12 cl, 8 dwg
