titleOfInvention | Method of two-stage treatment of ametropia among patients with keratoconus |
abstract | FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology. n SUBSTANCE: at the first stage, intrastromal segments are implanted, and the number and position of segments in the stroma are calculated according to nomograms based on the patient's refraction and depending on the minimum pachymetry of the cornea. At the second stage, an intraocular lens (hereinafter – IOL) is implanted. Treatment is carried out among patients with ectasia of the 1 st type. At the first stage, segments with a thickness of 150 to 350 mcm with a step of 50 mcm and an arc length of 180-210º, an inner diameter of 5.4 mm and an outer diameter of 6.2 mm are implanted. At the second stage, a posterior chamber toric IOL is implanted. n EFFECT: method allows improving functional results of treatment and reducing injuries. n 1 cl, 3 ex |
