abstract | FIELD: hydrocarbon process industry.SUBSTANCE: The invention relates to a method for producing a {2,4-di-tert-butyl-6-[(tert-butylimino)methyl]phenolate} oxodichloride of vanadium(V) for the synthesis of ethylene-propylene diene monomer rubbers, while preparing the ligand by mixing 3,5-di-tert-butyl-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde and tert-butylamine in an alcohol solution in the presence of catalytic amounts of acetic acid at room temperature, the reaction mixture is stirred for a day, evaporated to dryness, the solid residue is recrystallized from hexane, then the resulting 2.4-di-tert-butyl-6-[(tert-butylimino)methyl]phenol is dissolved in hexane and added dropwise in an inert atmosphere to a solution of vanadium oxytrichloride in hexane, stirred for a day, evaporated to dryness and washed with 1.5 ml of anhydrous hexane in an inert atmosphere, then dried at a pressure of 0.5 mbar for an hour.EFFECT: technical result consists in simplifying the method for producing the {2,4-di-tert-butyl-6-[(tert-butylimino)methyl]phenolate} vanadium(V) oxodichloride precatalyst, increasing its yield, which, when used as part of the catalytic system, provides production of synthetic EPDM rubbers with a yield of up to 23551 g/g V, viscosity from 45 to 82 Mooney units, the ethylene content in rubbers is from 54.7 to 57.7 wt%, ENB (for EPDM) from 3.8 to 5.7 wt%.1 cl, 1 tbl, 6 ex |
