FIELD: clothing.SUBSTANCE: silk fabric is famous and renowned for its tactile qualities. However, the disadvantages of silk are its high price, unsatisfactory washing resistance and low resistance to certain types of chemical treatment. Thus, it is an object of the present invention to provide a silk-like woven fabric that overcomes these disadvantages. According to the present invention, this problem is solved with the help of a silk-like woven fabric (2) made of weft threads (4) and warp threads (6). At least one of the weft threads (4) and warp threads (6) contains lyocell fibers (8) or consists of them. In particular, when folded lyocell fibers are used, the resulting material has tactile characteristics comparable to those of silk and physical properties that are the same or even superior to those of silk.EFFECT: lyocell fibers (4, 6) can have a higher twist factor than silk threads, other cellulose threads, or synthetic threads.14 cl, 4 dwg |
