FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a mixed transition metal oxide and its use as a catalyst or precursor to a catalyst, such as a catalyst or precursor to a catalyst for the conversion of hydrocarbons or, more specifically, a catalyst or precursor to a hydro-treatment catalyst.
