titleOfInvention Method for flotation concentration of sludged ore
abstract FIELD: mining industry.SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to mining industry, namely to the beneficiation of minerals by using the method of combined pneumatic-electroflotation and can be used in the processing of refractory ore and non-metallic mineral raw materials. Said method of flotation concentration of sludge ores includes coarse grinding of the material, separation of the crushed material into a sand fraction and a slurry fraction, followed by separate flotation. To increase the extraction of valuable components from the slurry fractions during coarse grinding of the material, an electrolyte solution previously obtained in an electro-flotation column, saturated with hydrogen micro-bubbles and having a reduction potential, is used. Flotation of the sand fraction is carried out by means of a pneumatic flotation machine, whereas the sludge fraction is performed by means of an electro-flotation column with gas saturation of the slime-containing pulp with micro-bubbles of hydrogen and oxygen, no more than 50 mcm (microns) in size, comparable to the size of the floating particles. Depending on the ratio of the sizes of the floating particles outlet, the redox potential and pH of the pulp are adjusted. The intensity of oxidation of the surface of easily oxidized minerals, the degree of adsorption of the collector on the surface of ore minerals in combination with gas micro-bubbles is controlled.EFFECT: increased extraction of useful components from mineral raw materials at the cost of reducing their losses in sludge fractions during the pneumatic flotation cycle and increasing environmental safety.1 cl, 1 dwg
