titleOfInvention | Method of preservation of a donor heart |
abstract | FIELD: biotechnology; preservation of a donor heart. n SUBSTANCE: method includes cannulation of the heart aorta, which is located in a cooled to +2-4℃ Krebs-Henseleit solution saturated with carbogen (95% O2 + 5% CO2), placing the distal end of the cannula above the level of the exit of the mouths of the coronary arteries. Then the cannula is fixed with a ligature and continuous insufflation of the coronary channel is performed, while the aortic valve moistened with oxygen is closed, at a constant pressure of 35 mm Hg at a volume rate of 3 ml/min for a period of up to 24 hours. n EFFECT: invention makes it possible to maintain the viability of the heart for 24 hours by providing continuous oxygenation of the donor heart in conditions of reducing its metabolic needs. n 1 cl, 1 ex |
