abstract FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic synthesis, specifically to 16-azatricyclo[9.4.1.02.10]hexadeca-2,12,14-trienam of formula (1). Said compounds are referred to a class of heterocyclic compounds and can be used as key precursors in synthesis of valuable biologically active compounds and modern medicinal anti-cancer preparations. Compounds of the invention are obtained by reacting N-substituted azepines of formula (a) (where R = Et, Ph) with 1,2-cyclononadiene (CND) in the presence of a catalyst Co(acac)2(dppe)/Zn/ZnI2in molar ratio of CND : azepine: Co(acac)2(dppe) : Zn : ZnI2= (1.3-2.0):1:(0.05-0.15):(0.15-0.45):(0.1-0.3), in ampoule at 20-80°C, in 1,2-dichloroethane for 20-48 hours.(1),(a).EFFECT: disclosed 16-azatricyclo[9.4.1.02.10]hexadeca-2,12,14-trienes of formula (1) as anti-tumor agents.3 cl, 2 tbl, 2 ex
