Composition for oral care contains arginine in free form or in form of salt and zinc ions, which are present in the composition in concentration of 0.00052 mol/100 g to 0.00062 mol/100 g in terms of total weight of the composition. Zinc ions are provided by a zinc compound selected from a group consisting of zinc oxide, zinc lactate, zinc chloride and zinc citrate.
