| abstract | FIELD: medical equipment.SUBSTANCE: system for increasing the efficiency of the user's sleep comprises a skin electroconductivity signal processing device and an interface to provide the user with the sleep preparation guidance based on the user's emotional state. Skin electroconductivity data signal is segmented into a plurality of intervals. Peaks are detected in the signal. Sum of amplitudes of increasing fronts of detected peaks for each interval is calculated. User is classified as being in a certain emotional state on the basis of non-stationary behavior of the sum of amplitudes of growing fronts for each interval during the day. User is classified as being in a painfully fatigued state, when the sum of amplitudes of growing fronts for each interval increases during the day. User is classified as being in a normally fatigued state when the sum of amplitudes of increasing fronts for each interval decreases during the day.
