abstract FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to novel N-alkyl-N-{[3-alkyl-3,8-diazabicyclo[3.2.1]octa-1(7),5-dien-8-yl]methyl}amines of general formula (1)to a method for production thereof and to use thereof as agents with antimicrobial activity in relation to Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Acinetobacter baumannii, Candida albicans, Cryptococcus neoformans, Klebsiella pneumoniae. Method of obtaining is that pyrrole is reacted with pre-prepared at 60 °C for 2 hours in a solution of methanol with a mixture of paraformaldehyde and an amine of general formula R-NH2, (where R is specified above), the reaction is carried out in the presence of ZrOCl2·8H2O catalyst in molar ratio of pyrrole:primary amine:paraformaldehyde:ZrOCl2·8H2O = 1:2:3:(0.03–0.07) at temperature 0 °C and atmospheric pressure for 5–7 hours.EFFECT: disclosed are a method of producing N-alkyl-N-{[3-alkyl-3,8-diazabicyclo[3_2_1]octa-1(7),5-dien-8-yl]methyl}amines and use thereof as agents with antimicrobial activity.3 cl, 2 tbl, 7 ex
