titleOfInvention Method of measuring weight concentrations of arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury in meat and meat-containing products by mass spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma
abstract FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry and can be used for laboratory safety studies of meat and meat-containing products for presence of heavy metals. Method is followed by sampling after sampling to add thereto 10 cm3of concentrated nitric acid in amount of 0.8-1.2 g of sample. Sample is decomposed at pressure of 4 mPa in two steps: at the first stage at temperature of 170°C for 5 minutes, and at second step at 200°C for 20 minutes. Resulting mineralizate quantitatively transferred to a volumetric flask of 100 cm3, the volume was adjusted to 100 cm3of deionized water, stirred to give the prepared sample. Measurement sample prepared in the specific metal content in the mass spectrometer is carried out using a reaction/collision cell by passing helium through it as a gas-reactant at rate of 4.2-4.5 cm3/min and preliminary introduction into prepared sample of internal standard solution in volume ratio sample: standard as 1:0.01, wherein at said measurement of mercury content in said prepared sample, an internal standard used is a solution with a rhodium comparison element, and when determining arsenic, cadmium, lead, complex internal standard solution with comparison elements: germanium, indium, terbium.EFFECT: high sensitivity, accuracy and rapidity of analysis.1 cl, 12 tbl, 4 dwg
