FIELD: cattle breeding.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to livestock sector, in particular to beef cattle breeding. Method of assessing adaptive properties of cows by element composition of wool, comprising sampling wool weighing not less than 0.4 g from upper wit section, further evaluation of mercury (Hg) concentration is carried out by atomic emission and mass spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma, at concentration of Hg in wool below 0.0038 mcg/g, adaptation properties of cow are evaluated as high, at concentration of Hg higher than 0.0038 mcg/g, respectively, as low.EFFECT: invention can be used for assessing adaptive qualities of cows.1 cl |
