abstract FIELD: chemical-pharmaceutical industry.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to methods of extracting leukocyte peptides from raw material of animal origin, which can be used as biologically active substances when producing pharmaceutical compositions. Method of extracting leukocyte peptides involves homogenisation of human donor raw material, centrifugation, followed by sterilizing filtration of the obtained substance through fine-pore filters. Human donor raw material used is leukocytes in physiological saline, which are subjected to ultrasound treatment at amplitude of 60 to 80 % for 60 to 120 seconds.EFFECT: invention enables to obtain protein fractions having a simple method of antibacterial and antiviral properties.1 cl, 1 tbl
