titleOfInvention COPOLYMERS OF di-N-OXIDES OF POLY-1,4-ETHYLENE-PIPERAZINE AND METHODS FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF
abstract FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel polymer compounds, specifically to copolymers of poly-1,4-ethylene piperazine di-N-oxides, which can be used in medical industry in medicinal agents for prevention of development and treatment of various diseases and used as polymer carriers for various proteins and other active substances. Copolymers of poly-1,4-ethylene-piperazine di-N-oxide have general formula I below, in which X=Cl-, Br-, SN3COA-, OH-, k=50–1,000 (from 1 to 99 % of total number of links); l=32–1,000 (from 1 to 90 % of total number of links); m=0–1,000 (from 0 to 50 % of total number of links); n=0–1,000 (from 0 to 50 % of total number of links); p=0–1,000 (from 0 to 50 % of total number of links). According to a first version, a method of producing copolymers of di-N-oxides of poly-1,4-ethylene piperazine of general formula I involves cationic polymerization of 1,4-diazobicyclo[2.2.2]octane at temperature of 150 to 230 °C. Further, the obtained poly-1,4-ethylene-piperazine is oxidized with an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide. In compliance with second version obtaining carboxyl-containing derivatives of copolymers of di-N-oxides of poly-1,4-ethylene-piperazine of general formula I, in which p>0. Method of producing carboxyl-containing copolymer derivatives involves alkylation of poly-1,4-ethylene piperazine in aqueous solution with any haloacetic acid, in aqueous solution of acetic acid or in anhydrous acetic acid. Obtained copolymer of 1,4-ethylene piperazine and N-carboxymethyl-1,4-ethylene-piperazine are oxidized with an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide.EFFECT: invention enables to obtain non-toxic copolymers, having antiradical activity and properties protect proteins in chemical stress conditions.6 cl, 2 tbl, 14 ex
