titleOfInvention Method for preparation of copper-containing zeolites and use thereof
abstract FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry and specifically to preparation of copper-containing zeolites. Invention relates to a method of preparing copper-containing zeolites with an atomic ratio of Cu/Al in range of 0.3-0.75 and high activity states of Cu (II) cations, specifically: associates of isolated Cu (II) ions and structures of Cu (II) ions with non-framework oxygen, which consists in ion exchange of H-, NH4-or Na-forms of zeolite with aqueous-ammonium solutions of ammoniac complexes Cu (II) at temperature 20-35°C and pH in range of 8-12. For preparation of water-ammonium solution of ammoniacal complexes Cu (II) there used are insoluble or slightly soluble in water basic salts of copper (II), such as: basic carbonate, basic nitrate, basic sulphate, basic chloride, dissolving them at temperature of 20-50°C in an aqueous solution of ammonium hydroxide in molar ratio NH4OH/Cu in range of 5-15, wherein the concentration of the ammoniacal complex Cu (II) in the solution is in range of 0.005 to 0.2 mol/l, preferably 0.02-0.125 mol/l, and the zeolite used is zeolites, the silicate module of which is within 2-50, for example ZSM-5, CHA, SSZ-13, SAPO-34, MOR, USY, Y, BEA. Invention also relates to use of copper-containing zeolites as catalysts.EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency and selectivity of catalysts based on copper-containing zeolites in processes of selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides and oxidation of hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide and soot, in a wide range of temperatures, as well as in improving catalyst resistance to water vapor deactivation.5 cl, 2 tbl, 24 ex
