titleOfInvention Completely ceramic microencapsulated fuel, made with burnable absorber as a sintering intensifier
abstract FIELD: fuel industry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a fuel-resistant fuel, called completely ceramic microencapsulated fuel with improved function. Method of producing nuclear fuel involves providing a plurality of fuel particles. Mixing of fuel particles with ceramic powder and one or more neutron poisons from oxides of rare-earth elements with formation of mixture-precursor. At least one of said one or more neutron poisons from rare earth oxide species is Eu 2 O 3 . Further, compaction of precursor mixture at preset pressure and temperature with formation of fuel element. n EFFECT: invention allows simultaneous improvement of eutectic and neutron properties. n 15 cl, 6 dwg
