titleOfInvention | Method for surgical treatment of primary subcompensated open-angle glaucoma with the presence of a toxic-allergic reaction to hypotensive therapy |
abstract | FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. Surgical treatment of primary subcompensated open-angle glaucoma is performed. For this purpose transscleral cyclophotocoagulation (CPC) is performed by contact-transscleral using diode laser in microimpulsive mode. For the three days before the CPC, Nevanak is instilled into operated eye 3 times a day. Immediately before CPC, viscoelastic is applied on cornea. CPC are performed in microimpulse mode in eyeball lower and upper half, except for meridians 3 and 9 o'clock, cyclic with wave length 812 nm with energy 2000-2500 mJ, working cycle 30%, pulse duration 0.8 ms, period 1.1 ms. Exposure per exposure cycle is 10 s. First cycle of exposure is performed along circular arc in one direction. Second cycle - along the same circle arc in the opposite direction. Further cycles are performed similarly to the first two cycles. Total of 6 cycles are performed in the lower half and similarly 6 cycles in the upper half of the eyeball. Operation is completed by subconjunctival administration of 1 ml of dexamethasone and 1 ml of gentamycin and application of an aseptic dressing.EFFECT: method enables preserving visual functions, activating the intraocular fluid outflow pathways, achieving the stable hypotensive effect, which leads to the hypotensive therapy reduction, until its cancellation, and reducing the symptoms of the toxic-allergic reactions.1 cl, 3 ex |
