titleOfInvention Medical device for capturing and extracting foreign objects from body cavities
abstract FIELD: medical equipment.SUBSTANCE: medical device for catching and holding an object inside the body with subsequent removal to the outside consists of a basket filter made of threads which are connected to each other near the proximal end, forming main branches, each of which has at least two threads weaving together near the distal end. Each main branch comprises a branch point in which said main branch is divided into at least two single threads, extending from the branch point to the distal end of the basket in the basket filter, so that a proximal portion between the proximal end and the branch point and the distal portion between the branch point and the distal end is determined in the basket filter. One of the filaments extends in the form of a right-sided spiral, while the other one lies in the form of a left-sided spiral. Two single threads running from branch points are intertwined, forming a distal mesh on the distal portion between the branch point and the distal end with a density in the range between about 5.1 intersection points per inch and about 6.4 intersection points per inch. Distal mesh is configured to grip an object larger than 4 mm in a basket filter. Each of the at least two unit threads extends from the corresponding branch point towards the distal end of the basket filter, changes direction near the distal end and returns either to the specified corresponding branch point or to the other branch point, forming a loop. At the distal end, each loop formed from each of the at least two single threads is woven with at least another loop formed by the other of the at least two single threads, so that said loops together form a distal hole in the distal end of the distal end. Distal hole is coaxial to the longitudinal axis passing through the basket filter from the proximal end to the most distal point of the distal end. Density of the mesh increases in the direction from the proximal end to the distal end, and the filaments on the proximal segment form a proximal mesh that is configured to pass an object through itself larger than 4 mm and having a density of less than about 5.1 points of intersection per inch. Disclosed are versions of the device.EFFECT: technical result is reduced to providing convenience and safety.19 cl, 10 dwg
