abstract FIELD: metallurgy. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipe from high-temperature iron-chromium-aluminum alloy, and can be used in heating devices. Pipe (1) of high-temperature iron-chromium-aluminum alloy, extending along longitudinal axis (C), is formed of continuous strip (3) of iron-chromium-aluminum alloy, wherein tube (1) comprises spiral weld (2), wherein pipe has almost constant inner diameter (d) or constant inner diameter (d) along longitudinal axis (C). High-temperature iron-chromium-aluminum alloy contains, wt %: Cr from 5 to 2, Al from 2.5 to 8, Mo from 0 to 5, rest is Fe and usually occurring impurities and, optionally, other intentionally added alloying elements. Method of making pipe (1) includes steps of: feeding continuous strip (3) from high-temperature iron-chromium-aluminum alloy to pipe shaping point (4), spiral winding of strip (3) at pipe shaping point (4) so that long edges (6, 7) of strip (3) adjoin each other and rotating pipe (1) is formed, moving in direction parallel to its longitudinal axis (C), continuous connection of said adjoining long edges (6, 7) by means of welding process directly during formation of pipe (1) from high-temperature alloy of iron-chromium-aluminum, thereby producing welded pipe (1) comprising spiral weld (2) and annealing pipe (1). n EFFECT: manufactured pipe has large diameter and/or low wall thickness, and is also characterized by high resistance to oxidation. n 17 cl, 5 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex
