titleOfInvention Regenerated substances suitable for treatment of liquids obtained during fermentation
abstract FIELD: food industry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to regenerated inorganic substances for stabilization and/or clarification of a beverage produced during fermentation. Inorganic product for stabilization and filtration of beer contains regenerated precipitated silica gel or precipitated silicon dioxide and regenerated filter medium, wherein the inorganic product has a regeneration efficiency of 45 % to 165 % or an adjusted regeneration efficiency of 45 % to 165 %. Inorganic product is used at least once as a medium for stabilization and/or filtration of beer. Inorganic product is regenerated by heating in temperature range from approximately 600 °C to approximately 800 °C for 30 to 1 hour in an oxidative atmosphere containing 15 vol % to 50 vol % oxygen. Regenerated substances meet requirements relating to physical and chemical properties, for repeated use and for replacement of most inorganic filter media in form of particles and inorganic stabilizing substances used in stabilization and clarification processes.EFFECT: reduced costs for stabilization and filtration of beer (or other beverages produced during fermentation); reduced weight of wastes formed in the brewing industry; reduced introduction of extractable impurities into beer during stabilization and filtration processes in contact with substances used during processing; reduced potential impact of crystalline silicon dioxide on workers.20 cl, 19 tbl, 20 ex
